Mr. Page offers over 11 years of experience
in domestic and international partnerships and corporate organizations
along with a broad base of experience in domestic and international
commercial real estate development, commercial contracting and regulatory
law, including environmental legislation, permitting and Brownsfield
re-development. Mr. Page graduated from The University of Texas with
a Bachelors of Science in Molecular Biology and, after several years
of research at Baylor College of Medicine at the Texas Medical Center,
Mr. Page was conferred with his Doctorate of Jurisprudence in 1994
from South Texas College of Law.
After a period of private practice representing
emerging companies in the medical, personal services, telecommunications
and energy
services sectors in such matters as corporate structuring, corporate
governance, regulatory issues and real estate development, Mr.
Page became in-house counsel for Schlumberger Limited. During his
tenure with Schlumberger, Mr. Page served in various positions
including managing the provision of legal services to the company’s
Corporate Real Estate Group, its Global Trade Control and Export
Organization and its Global Environmental, Health and Safety Organization,.
Mr. Page lived three years in England serving as Corporate Counsel
for the Company’s United Kingdom-based seismic company and
provided lead counsel for the creation and re-structuring of the
company’s 4 billion dollar seismic joint venture that included
operations and registrations in more than 60 countries worldwide.
Mr. Page also served as Corporate Counsel for the UK-based, Joint
Venture’s Marine Division; a company with a fleet in excess
of 40 vessels generating revenues in excess of 769 million dollars
in more than 30 countries of operation.
Mr. Page’s experience includes serving as a Director and
Officer to various domestic and international companies, including
companies registered in Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Panama, the British
Virgin Islands and England. As well, Mr. Page has provided regulatory
and commercial counsel on more than 500 million dollars of development
projects, including Brownfields re-development, in such states
as Texas, South Carolina, New York and California. Mr. Page has
been published on several occasions in the Environmental Corporate
Counsel Report and The Journal of Biological Chemistry and has
spoken and participated in round-table panels at several industry-related
association events.
Mr. Page is happily married to the former Miss Deborah Daugherty
and they are the proud parents of eight-year old Grant Aaron
and seven-year old Brittany Nichole. The Page family was among
the early founding families of Holy Cross Episcopal Church in
Sugar Land where Joe served as Chairman of the Architectural
Selection Committee and the Building Committee for the Churches’ Master
Plan and first building program. |
